WHAT IS IT?

Our food bank is a choice model, once a month we offer emergency food for 5 days to low-income individuals and families within the Orleans East, Cumberland, Sarsfield, Vars, Navan and Carlsbad Spring communities.

The food bank services are only offered to residents of the OCCRC catchment area. Please consult this website to find out which catchment area of the City you reside in.

Thanks to incredible support from the community, the OCCRC Food Bank can assist an average of 774 people every month.

YOU MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS

ID for each household member:

  • Driver’s license
  • Birth certificate
  • Canadian citizenship card, etc.

Recent proof of address for each adult
(18 yrs +) living in the same household:

  • Telephone
  • Electricity bill
    (dated less than two months)

Proof of income for each adult (18 yrs +) living in the same household:

  • Notice of assessment
  • Canada Child benefit (CCB)
  • Last three pay stubs
  • Ontario Works
  • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

Tuesdays: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Thursdays: 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Fridays: 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

JUNE TO AUGUST

Tuesdays: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
